Welcome to the 2010/2011 school year. We are anxious to see our returning families and get to know our new families.
This year we welcome Mr. Gabe De Guzman as our new junior high math and science teacher. He has been with us for the past two years as our accelerated algebra teacher so many of you may already know him.
We are grateful to you for choosing St. Philomene School for your children in these tough economic times. We realize the sacrifices you make and continue to make which is why we are very committed to providing a sound Catholic Christian education for your children. We look to you as parents to be our partners in the education of your children and would like to thank you in advance for your time, treasure, and talents.
Catholic schools across the nation are experiencing financial challenges. They struggle to maintain a balanced budget. The Diocese of Sacramento is no exception. The actual cost to educate each child at St. Philomene School is $5,299. The 2010/2011 tuition rate is significantly lower which is why we greatly appreciate your participation in the various fund-raising programs. We know we have a fantastic school. We truly are God’s hidden jewel! Please spread the word about our fabulous school.
Again, for the 2010/2011 school year, any currently enrolled family who brings in a new family, that registers for the 2010/2011 school year receives the registration fee of $260 refunded.
Should a currently enrolled family bring in additional new families who register for the 2010/2011 school year, an additional $260 would be applied to future tuition payments.
